Class Description
Celebrate the holiday season with our “Paint Your Own Ornaments” workshop! In this engaging 1.5-hour class, students will create personalized watercolor ornaments that are perfect for gifting or adding to their own festive decor.

Participants will explore various watercolor techniques to paint charming holiday illustrations that can be displayed in clear acrylic ornaments or on round paper ornaments. Featured designs include:

Holly and Mistletoe: Classic greenery with vibrant red berries for a traditional holiday look.

Snowflakes and Stars: Graceful patterns that capture the essence of a snowy winter.

Christmas Trees and Wreaths: Seasonal motifs in green and red that evoke the spirit of Christmas.

Winter Animals and Scenes: Delightful designs like reindeer or cozy cabins that add a personal touch.

Basic watercolor techniques such as wet-on-wet, layering, and blending to bring your designs to life.

Materials:
Participants are welcome to bring their own watercolor paints and brushes if they prefer, or they can use the supplies provided. All other materials, including watercolor paper and ornament frames, will be provided.

Venue: 9th Street Studios, 920 9th St. on the second floor. Students must be able to walk up and down a flight of stairs.
