Perfect for ages 10 and up, this beginner-friendly class is also great for intermediate artists ready to refine their skills. Learn techniques like hatching, crosshatching, stippling, and contour drawing to bring depth and texture to your art.

Class Breakdown:
Class 1 (December 12): Dive into contour drawing to improve observation and accuracy. Practice shading techniques like hatching, crosshatching, and stippling, and create value scales to master light and shadow.
Class 2 (December 19): Combine your skills to create a detailed drawing, incorporating contour, texture, and shadow for a dynamic and realistic result.
Cost: $45
What to Bring:
Pencils (HB, 2B, 4B, 6B)
Erasers (kneaded and regular)
Blending stump (optional)
Sketch pad or drawing paper
Need supplies? Purchase a supply kit at the first class for $25 (cash or check).
Location:
The workshop will be held at my studio located downtown in the 9th Street Studios building.
Please note that students must be able to climb a flight of stairs to reach the studio.
